Refurbishment of an apartment in the center of Venice. The whole apartment was reorganized around a generous living room and the eat-in kitchen. A sleeping and a bathroom ‘box’ were consciously minimized to maximize the living areas. The existing suspended ceiling was removed to get a bigger room height. The roof timbering was structurally reinforced and painted white to merge visually with the white ceiling.
