With the help of interested citizens, local organizations  and the municipality,  the process developed a series of strategies to activate the potential of the public spaces of the centre of the village of Bad Eisenkappel / / Železna Kapla, the southernmost municipality of Austria. We collected information and ideas by intense conversations, and workshops, trying to mediate between the different interests and visions of the involved community representatives. Finally, we developed a catalogue of interventions to improve the community on a short-, mid- and long-term scale. Based on our plan, the community was able to open a new passage between the main square and the southern river promenade. A vacant shop-space was activated as cultural space by one of the local associations.
